Theodore (TJ) is a Lecturer at Georgia Tech in the FlexStack Program within the Professional Education Department, where he’s been teaching and building learning experiences for the better part of the last decade. He teaches graduate machine learning, including serving as the course instructor for OMSCS CS 7641: Machine Learning. He holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering and an MBA from Georgia Tech, and his research spans computational neuroscience, signal processing, and brain network dynamics. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon, studying Math, Computer & Information Sciences, Physics, and Theater. He has also co-founded a medical imaging startup and is an inventor on a patent for diagnosable image capture and storage.
